I had a wash and blow dry as I was starting a new job the next day and wanted to look nice. It was the worst hairdressing experience I’ve ever had. She put mousse in my hair claiming it would make it easier to dry but all it did was make it heavy and sticky. No hairdresser before has ever claimed that. She was clearly sick and coughed all over me, when I asked her if she was ill she said she’s been better but it’s not COVID, I hope not! Once dry my hair looked lanky and rough. I didn’t stay to let her use the straightener. I told her it was a horrible experience and I wouldn’t be back, no apology. She said the charge was $35 but when it hit my credit card it was $85. Never have I paid so much for a wash and dry. Don’t go here if you want good service.

I couldn't be happier with my hair after visiting Figureheads. I have had so many compliments since my cut and colour with Lil, she also gave me some great tips to improve the healthy and oiliness of my hair.

Lil has been cutting my hair for more years than i care to remember. I appreciate the professional and friendly atmosphere of the Figureheads salon and always leave with a great haircut and feeling that i have been well- cared for. thank you

Lil is fantastic at cutting hair. She is invested in the health and condition of my hair. I like to experiment with my haircuts and Lil has never disappointed me. I always walk out of the salon feeling fabulous. I don't know anyone better with a pair of scissors.

I thought to try Figureheads for a very simple trim but I left extremely underwhelmed and with bits of hair longer than the rest. This was especially disappointing as the reason why I went to get my hair cut was so it would look nice at my cousin's wedding a few days later. I also asked if it was possible to not have a blow wave (as I didn't need one) but this was not an option. Instead, the hairdresser charged me $50 and left my hair wet so she could go home (I was the last appointment for the day).After calling and leaving a message expressing my disappointment and asking if someone could fix my hair, the director responded via text message saying sorry you were disappointed with your hair our Salon is booked out today director." Not even the slightest care to call me back and express interest into why I may have been disappointed or to use basic punctuation!I decided to visit to explain my unsatisfactory experience in person and the director was just as rude! There was zero empathy in why I felt my experience was poor to which she brushed me off with "Your hair looks fine to me. I'm sorry

The hair stylists are really talented and know how to create the right look for me. I also love the shampoo they use - it leaves my hair feeling really clean and healthy. I would definitely recommend!
