Harrington Hotel

It's worth a visit!! My wife and I visited here for lunch while holidaying in the area. We were both greeted in a very friendly manner when we first arrived. We had a drink and ordered lunch. As we were there on a Monday, there was a steak special ($14.90 for a steak, chips and salad). So, we had that. It didn't take very long to serve, and both meals were cooked to our liking (medium rare for me, and medium for my wife). We both thoroughly enjoyed them. The location is fabulous, right on the water. The bar and kitchen staff were both very friendly and efficient. I would recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Rooms were super basic with the worst pillows.Bathrooms were shared, but gender specific. Kind of like a caravan park style.Both clean.Food was pretty expensive and mainly yellow or beige in colour, so ate elsewhere.So many beers, but only the basic ones.Great spot beside the water.

There was a power outage (not the venues fault) and the staff were bloody awesome. Did everything they could to make the best of the situation and somehow the kitchen were still able to get out meals.Great effort by all.

Where do I start……Lunch menu looked very nice, not a huge menu to choose from which is great.The food came out looking like a 12 year old served it up.I had a burger and chips, my husband had a club sandwich.The burger patty was bland, no seasoning if any, the chips were bland, yellow in colour, overall presentation on the plate was undesirable.The club sandwich, well, it looked like it had melted butter on white toast bread, two slices of bread, not the standard three? The chicken in the sandwich was bland, no flavour, chips bland and yellow in colour?Overall, the plates were presented without any finesse, lacking care in how they were presented.I think the chef needs to go back to school and learn how to actually present food, or get a job a maccas.Very disappointing, we won’t be back.

Beautiful pub, renovated in an unpretentious way that perfectly compliments the original character.Close enough to the highway to be convenient, far enough to be a little isolated. Tidy, comfortable rooms. There's even a bathtub. The bar has a great bistro, amazing location and friendly staff.What more could you honestly ask for? Highly recommended - hats off to the owners. They've done a beautiful job.

We frequently have dinner at the Harrington Hotel when in town. The bistro has a good range of dishes on the menu and is reasonably priced. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Children are welcome. The view of the lake and breakwall is superb. There is an outdoor area and a covered dining area that opens up to the outside. Overall a great place to relax, and enjoy a drink and a meal.

Lovely quiet place out of the hustle and bustle of the busy touristy places. Our king room at the hotel was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and the shared bathroom facilities are spotlessly clean. There's also a nice outdoor rooftop area with lovely views over the water. They have a nice bistro but we ate at the club 2 minutes walk from the hotel because the drinks were cheaper there! Friday and Saturday nights at the hotel are noisy with the music but that didn't bother us as we joined in the fun!

Cheap but not what I'd consider cheerful? The shared bathroom was maybe the best part....and thats being generous. With the rooms you booked for the night positioned directly above where the live music in the bar is played, makes for a late night when the music doesn't stop till 1am. No TV, no Aircon and several cockroaches later, does not make for a overall pleasant experience, I don't think I'd stay here again personally, by the way, the room was 90 a night for the above facilities. Take my advice, go elsewhere.

Love this place! Water views are amazing. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We visit as often as we can. Great food too!

Great venue that has awesome food and great staff. It also has texas holdem poker every Thursday night. If you're a beginner or an expert, this game is great for all.
