I have been seeing Dr Pallapana for years. Followed him from Cessnock to Wallsend. An amazing Dr. Warm, compassionate, caring, friendly. Best Dr I’ve ever seen. I love that he is non judgy and is happy to listen to any problem. Always explains everything as well!

refused to give me a mental health plan even when I told her I wanted to die, and wasn't eating. She told me they only had a certain amount of mental health plans they could give in a year, and unfortunately I didn't make the cut (luckily i wasn't cutting).I also told her I was experiencing terrible period pain, she said sorry to hear, and didn't do anything. I now have to see endometriosis specialists who have told me the years of no treatment have caused irreparable damage. She also prescribed my friend antibiotics that were specifically documented as a fatal contraindication for one of her conditions. Luckily my friend has more common sense than her, and actually read the fine print.Can someone tell me how to report her to the medical board for negligence.

Very nice receptionist, that's the only good thing I can say.First time at the clinic.Booked for 4 pm waiting until 4.40 pm.I went there to get scripts for my ongoing medical condition ,Showed her what I needed ( 3 items), her first reply was!! I need to see your medical history, do you have that with you!!NOSecond she said I can give you ALL I don't have time! I only got 10 minutes.Thirdly I am not sure which one I can prescribe, despite I had pictures and written down the name and doses.I need to send you to one of the other doctors.Is she a doctor???

Dr Palipana is the best GP I have ever had. Nothing is ever too much trouble and he truly listens. Does run late but that is because he never rushes anyone out the door. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

Had my first appointment here today after not being able to get in anywhere due to the GP shortage. The receptionist Teanna was friendly and kind, nothing was too much trouble for her. I saw the female doctor who was knowledgeable and also very nice. I was listened to and I feel very lucky to get an appointment with such a great practice that bulk bills. The whole experience was supportive and it was clear that patient care is number one priority. It can be intimidating going to a new doctor and this was not the case. Highly recommend this doctor and practice.

Beware of Dr Wijayalath PALIPANA. First visit and I was inexplicably judged by this ‘doctor’. No empathy, no respect, no relatability. A doctor should NEVER compare one patient to another which occurred at my appointment. I have never felt so belittled by a professional. I won’t be returning to this practice for any reason whatsoever.

The male doctor is my regular. I’ve been going to him for 5 years now or just a bit more & let me say he is the most caring, smart and understanding man. I have never had a bad experience & he always chased me up and shows he cares about you as a patient. I would even pay to go to a doctor like him it’s so beneficial he is bulk billed. But he is a great doctor & I appreciate the gentleness & reassurance he always gives.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Had my son booked in for vaccination and he got sick so I rang in the morning when they opened to check if he was still allowed to have the vaccination. They said they would call me back. Never did. I called again. They didn't return my call until hours later 5 minutes before my appointment time, which I couldn't make it there in time I'm 15mins away and I had put him to sleep. Then they say I have to pay cancellation fee when it was their fault for not calling me back. I will not go here anymore which is a shame because the doctors are usually quite nice when we visit and have been good to my family in the past. I would have expected more from this practice. Would not recommend anymore things have changed here no sympathy for sick people.

My doctor is thorough, she listens to me and my needs and follows up on concerns. She doesn't make me feel rushed or judged and is supportive. Great clinic
