We came from brunch and had a pretty nice meal overall but in short I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. I'll preface this by saying I reckon this place is a 5/5 if you're local and you need a solid place for coffee and a bite on the reg. It seemed like a place run by locals for locals.The service was really slow and they missed and order. That being said the staff were really friendly. Food was pretty tasty and quite cheap, I haven't paid that little for brunch in a while.Coffee was fine but since our hot coffee never arrived I was only able to judge the iced latte which is pretty hard to mess up even with bad beans.The atmosphere was cozy though a little warm. It was a warm 28 outside and inside and there was no aircon inside so not sure if it was just off or something they don't have.3/5

Coffee is a pleasantly strongish flavour. My preference is for a piccolo brewed really well. I recommend a sparkling water aperitif sip before each mouthful of coffee to heighten the taste buds. The yoghurt chocolate biscuits a real treat

The spicy lamb salad & fried chicken burger were surprisingly good. A delicious filling meal. Average coffee though.

Although the food is excellent, the attentive, polite and speedy service really shines here. The dog friendly courtyard with a rear entry for our furry family is an outstanding idea and a must for those meeting with pets and not wanting to disturb others. Outstanding Focus

The coffee was okay, presentation wasn’t the best. The food is okay but probably can improve on the texture of bread roll and sauce for pasta…. nice and bright interior with spacious seats.

First time dining here first breakfast. Staff fantastic. Wasn't sure what to have and staff member made some recommendations from the menu. Peaceful and relaxing place to have a bite to eat for breakfast. Food was very nice and very fresh. Highly recommend. As a first time customer, I will definitely be coming back. Menu has a lot of various foods to pick from. Lots of seating available whether you want to sit inside or outside in the courtyard. Plenty of shading in the courtyard, and very relaxing. Staff don't hurry you, so if you want to get together with friends for a catch up, great place to go. Great location on Whitehorse Road in Balwyn and once you finish your meal, take a stroll lots of different shops and whether you want some Bakery or even shop at the Asian market down the road. Always plenty to do and locals very friendly alway saying hello to each other.

Food and drink are good and the coffee is excellent but this cafe is very noisy. I've been there a few times now and have tried a few different items on the menu but seem to enjoy the smashed avocado breakfast best. They serve breakfast, brunch and lunch, and have takeaway. They also have great vegetarian, Gluten Free and kid friendly options. They have outdoor seating and the cafe is wheelchair accessible.
