Venus Bay is a delightful sea side holiday spot. Ideal for boating and fishing and swimming (In the right place). Up on south Head excellent photos can be taken of the southern ocean No land between you and Antarctica. Very high and rugged cliffs on this southern side. The bay is actually on the north side of town and caravan park and is fed by a comparatively narrow opening to the oceanAccomodation is excellent with 10 family villas all suitable for children and wheelchair accessible. They are pretty much self contained and prices are very reasonable for a holiday spot like this.Caravan park is clean and tidy with over 50 powered sites.. Pelican and bird life is interesting. Also a childrens play ground and equipment close by.There is a general store close by besides the caravan park kiosk which sells much for holiday makers and fishing gear.
