South Gladstone Motel

Michelle the manager was amazing she had no staff was cleaning rooms, washing linen even brought towels for our villa.The fact that the manager was doing everything all by herself and still had time to check that our room was fine and we didn’t need anything made our family feel so welcomed.If you want accommodation where you feel like you matter and not just your money book in with Michelle you will have the best family get away.We can’t wait to come back and stay.Thank you Michelle for going above and beyond to make sure your guest enjoy staying with you.

Firstly No smoke alarms management said he was putting one in who knows when.. the outside of the place was very over grown and tools everywhere.Thought we where booking an amazing holiday villa with two bedrooms and it was one whole room with 3 bunk beds in it and cockroaches, no towels, smelly linen, the pull out couch had socks and dirt all through it..Massive hole in the roof, aircon didn't workDo not look at pictures and think that's What your getting. The new manager did give us a full refund but honestly the place should not be up and running at the moment. Very very disappointed.

I called a few days in advance for a room for my partner, my cat and I. Owner was lovely and accomodating to our needs- we checked in late and he was more than happy to leave our key for when we got there. Told us not to rush when we were getting all of our stuff together for checkout the next morning. Motel was very clean and tidy. Everything was very affordable.Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this motel to anybody planning on staying in Gladstone.

Great place to stay. Clean, and very well appointed.The management is very friendly - had the room ready and cooled down even with my last minute booking. Small things matter after a long drive.I'll be back!

Had a nice quiet 2 nights here, the area is not busy. Clean room with tinted window and private shaded parking, even got a spa room for no extra. The manager was very friendly and offered change for the laundry and the laundry was pretty cheap.

Staid in units 1 and 2. Nothing like the picture on the website. Very small units but at least decently modern and clean clean. No WIFI. The owners are very friendly and just bought the place so hopefully the place will improve.

Stayed while racing karts. We had room 3 which was clean, comfy and what we needed. Beds were comfy, shower was nice and hot and the new manager was a friendly fella that helped with every need and question. Place is being renovated atm and will be even better when done.

The bed was comfortable, the air con was warm for the cold night and the room they gave me right next to the office was just that... a room.They must have permanent occupants because someone was playing loud music until around 10pm which I know is legal but motels are for travellers who need to sleep.The motel is within walking distance to a pub that serves meals. ( I didn't visit) all in all I just wanted to sleep so I could continue my journey the next morning and... I did.

Very disappointing, my room and surroundings were nothing like the pictures advertised. My blanket was dirty, and I asked for a clean one . The curtains were filthy, and in disrepair, the mattress was on slats and did not look very comfortable. All the amenities were old and needed replacing. On the good side, the Manager's were a lovely young couple who had only been there for 3 weeks but went out of their way to help me. They were in the process of fixing things up. However, I feel my room should never have been made available as it did not come up to standards. I ended up not staying as I knew I would have a very uncomfortable night there. I was refunded for one night but charged for one , I had not even unpacked my case ! It was inconvenient because it was late in the day when i checked in, and I then had to find accommodation elsewhere . I'm confident, however, that this young couple will eventually get the place up to scratch.
