Have been here before, but some years back. Good menu with plenty of choices, enough to make you take your time making a choice. Good, friendly service. Not licenced, but there is a bottle shop close by. The food was excellent and the servings were quite large. Highly recommended.

It was surprising to find decent Indian food all the way out there in the mountains. I enjoyed the lamb rogan josh, palak paneer, and garlic naan. Well it's a little bit difficult to see from the street, it does lend to its feel of being a hidden away gem. The service staff were polite and prompt, and I felt all warmed up when I left, it is a good thing because it was absolutely freezing out.

Not perfect but it was good. Ordered Heyderabadi chicken along with plain naan and plain rice. The chicken pieces were somehow undercooked, but the taste of gravy was good. I liked the naan and rice, they were cooked well. The price could be lower as you get a better quality in many parts of Melbourne for a lower price.

Sadly starter of onion pakoras were cold and mostly without flavour, which had cost a star, especially as we let them know. Would have been easy not to charge for them, and we would have felt better. Curries and rice were average, but not bad. Naan bread was fresh and good.Decor and atmosphere needs help.As far as we could tell, only curry option in Tumut which could explain a lot.

We enjoyed the food here, just 2 of us dining on a Friday (early) evening ahead of the Batlow Cider Festival tomorrow. Food was quick and tasty and we would come back: We had the onion bhaji (different to what I expected but crispy and tasty), butter chicken, palak paneer, chicken byriani (modern take but spicy and delicious) and garlic and cheese naan. The only criticism: how about some music to liven up the atmosphere! Big venue and BYO so would be great for groups, too.

Curries and cheese garlic roti were tasty. Only Indian restaurant in this area. Biriyani was basically rice mixed with meat gravy n being a biriyani fan, this was not interesting for me. Otherwise can try here while at Tumut.

Best Indian restaurant in Australia. I have travelled India a few times and the food at this restaurant is literally world class. Palak paneer or Palak Aloo are a must try. Best eaten as takeaway as the restaurant vibes often leave a bit to be desired. Thanks for bringing such good indian food to Tumut!

Have had takeaway twice from here and have enjoyed it. Unfortunately they do not have my favourite Indian curry, Malai kofta, but the paneer butter masala is also delicious. Rice was good. Garlic naan the first time I had it was a bit dry and stiff however the second time was much softer and very nice. It’s not the best Indian I’ve had but was definitely a good meal and I will be returning. The front of house staff were friendly and it was only a 30 min wait for food.

Absolutely extraordinary food. I can highly recommend the butter chicken. Wonderful friendly staff and very clean premises. Will definitely be back.
