Hawke & Co. Cafe

A wonderful experience! Worked with me thru messenger and then phone (necessary for communicating with us being in America and time zones). Am very happy with the arrangement - the photos my Barossa family sent of the arrangement were delightful! They are happy, I am happy - thank you, Rustic Edge!

My friend and I ordered corsages for our formal, we loved the way they explained what they where going to look like and the photos we received of them. When we picked them up and tried them on, they where more then double the size and mine didn’t sit right on my wrist and was falling apart. As for my friends, the bracelet was far to big and was swinging around her wrist. When we went back to get them fixed, we were there for about an hour while they were trying to fix them (ended up making them a whole lot worse). We ended up being over 40 minutes late to our formal, we missed out on our professional year 12 photos that we paid a bit of money for, which I am extremely upset and disappointed about and we didn’t even get to wear the corsages because they just fell apart when we tried to put them on. Really upsetting.

Unfortunately the owners of this shop aren’t very helpful or professional. I was with my sister and her friend when they received their corsages for her year 12 formal. The corsages clearly had several issues. It took at lot of persistence from myself and the girls to have the owners fix the corsages so they would be at the very least wearable. When I asked about a refund the owner said to me ‘well they cost us a lot of money’. The girls were forced to pay for corsages that weren’t even wearable. They offered a $15 discount but that doesn’t compare to the money those girls lost in comparison. They missed their year 12 formal photos because of this and having to wait as well as having paying for a corsage they couldn’t wear.

I am very disappointed for my daughter and her friend, after a discussion about what they wanted for their corsages for formal they were very happy, photos look good but when seeing them they were not good at all. $60 for something that didn’t fit and was falling apart, they did try to fix them but it made them look even worse. They did get $15 back but they were not able to be worn , a big waste of $45 , sorry guys but your service was terrible,

What an absolute gem!Not only does this cafe boast great food and coffee, but it also has a huge range of flowers, gift ideas and homewares.Incidentally my daughter also bought her Year 12 formal corsage from here and it fitted perfectly and looked amazing.
