Beacon Lighting

Spent > $2000 in store with numerous fittings and then had to fight for after sales service, on something that should of been straight forward.We bought a matching pair of tall lamps and then had to fight with the store owner in order to get it replaced.The style on one lamp was completely different (and didn't match the pendant we also bought). Not only was the style different, the but height was as well!Begrudgingly after some 30 minutes of heated banter the store owner finally decided to replace the 'odd' one with a matching one. Told us to not attempt to do this in future! (Don't worry, we won't shop there again).We've also had similar experiences at the store on Geelong Road, and would recommend anyone that wants to shop there to head to Hopper Crossing store instead for a much more pleasant experience.The Geelong stores are happy to take your money, but don't expect any after sales service.

Such a lovely range of lights. Service was ok. Brought some outdoor lights. They had a sale but wouldn't bargain anymore on the price which was disappointing. I did spend over 300 dollars.

I had purchased some globes. Came back home and tested it and for some reason it did not light up.I went back to the store again, tested it out by the same bald headed gentleman and it worked and he made a rude comment that because it was easter god has answered his prayers. Feeling a little embarrassed i came back and tested it again,still no good.To troubleshoot the defect i swapped a serviceable globe from a different point from my house and it lighted up. I compared the specifications of two globes.The only difference i could find was the new globe was a little shorter preventing a contact.I went back to the outlet for a third time and got a refund back only after a very rude comment by the same employee that he can get rid of me.I went over to Bunnings next door and purchased the globe and tested it out and it was all good. A very bad experience from a rude employee giving Beacon lighting a bad name.

Recently purchased 3 ceiling fans with lights and found the service quality to be very high. The male customer service person was very knowledgeable about lumen, power, control, price. The fixed price installation via Beacon worked well and fans were installed within 7 days. Great Job!

Assisted with lighing/fans/etc for our new house. Very helpfull and kept us advised as items arrived and held them in store for three months until the electrian asked for them. A pleasure to deal with them and always friendy.

Nice lighting varieties and friendly staff

Never again on Sunday. No cashier, no one to help, waited 30 mins at desk. Lots of staff walked past, no one to serve.

Was shown the range of lights on offer by a very pleasant lady. Had time to look around. Received a great deal and had my lamps taken to my car. Great service.Thank you.
