Erica Escape

We went for a weekend and the place was just amazing! Tidy and we enjoyed the fireplace till late at night, having some drinks with friends. Highly recommend this place to have some time to relax with friends or family and it's just few hours from Melbourne. I definitely will be there again!

Loved this place. Really nice cosy house. Close to Mount Baw Baw if you want to go on a daytrip to the snow (with snow rental gear available just across the road).Kid friendly as well, with a playground and oval just down the road.

I rented this amazing place to have a weekend away from Melbourne and also to celebrate my birthday with all my friends. Jerome’s place is just amazing, such a beautiful house in a quiet spot, surrounded by nature and wildlife. The place was super clean, cosy and comfortable for a big group (we were 11 people). It is also well equipped with all you need to cook, relax and have an amazing time. The coffee machine was a plus as the host provided coffee beens and as I work in hospitality I could use it to “show off” my skills to my friends and offer everyone a fresh amazing coffee every morning. We also went for a swim in the creek and the Ghost tour. Highly recommended and looking forward to come back soon. Thank you very much Jerome !

Amazing place to stay with your mate's,plenty of room and sound system sick, we had a lovely time for my GF birthday and also manage to do some awesome hiking.will be back for sure mama nature the best.Thanks Jerome

This was my first time at an air b&b and to say I was disappointed. For the money we paid it was very disappointing. Where to start the place when we first got there was very underwhelming. There was a plank of wood hanging from one of the upstairs external window shades.the lawn was un mowed and untidy. Then we went to enter and only the external wire door could be locked not the main door. and then we entered the house it was ok. And there was only very minimal things provided. Cheap nasty toilet paper was supplied and the hand wash was almost empty in one bathroom. And in the kitchen yes there is a fantastic coffee machine but shame most of us were forced to drink coffee as there was only 2 teabags to last 7 adults for 2 days luckily we took most of our own supplies otherwise we would of been stuffed. There were a number of doors that wouldn't close or were very hard to close. But on a plus the beds were comfortable and ample clean bedding was provided. The house was clean and tidy.

Erica Escape was a wonderful experience in a very enjoyable and pieceful town. The place is really clean, spacious and opens to a nice garden without vis a vis. Me and my family stayed there a couple times and always had a great time. The owner is friendly and helpful to guide you through the activities you can do in Erica. Perfect for nice retreat or just to reconnect with mother nature!!!!

From the moment arrived at Erica we felt immediately relaxed. The house is charming, very inviting and somehow cosy but at the same time quite spacious and the surrounding views really picturesque! It was springtime and their were lots of adorable little lambs being watched over by a rather protective lama in the paddock out the back.The wood fire was delightful. We ate we drank we sang (there is an amazing bluetooth sound system to enjoy), and after an evening of fun we all retired to our rooms and their super comfy beds!!Next day we went on a little drive and had lunch at nearby Walhalla, a gorgeous little village, like stepping back in time.We had plans to go out for dinner that same night but changed our minds and decided to stay in and just enjoy the house and each other’s company.We didn’t want to leave when it came time and wished we had booked for longer.Can’t wait to go back to Erica, it really was a lovely escape!
