Yea Automotive Service Centre

We were travelling interstate with 3 kids and turned up here at 4pm with no prior notice when our brakes started making a terrible squeal. The guy pulled the wheel off and removed a rock from somewhere in there; he had us on our way again in 20min!!!! Very thankful for this service, top marks.

WARNING to anyone that may be thinking of using .....I have a brand new car that has only been serviced by this guy and this is what he has done or rather not done.SERVICE 1 (10k kilometers)Never updated computer after service and told me that I would have to come back to have it done because the service warning light hadn't come up (I was a couple of hundred klm early and this is nit correct info). Only minor I know but rather annoying because I had to take time off work to return the car to have this done. No water in washers. Took for granted that all the service was done.SERVICE 2 (20k kilometres)Cross threaded oil cap and caused oil to spew all over engine bay and more. Car was left with very low oil!! and a huge mess. No update of computer.He did clean the engine bay, change the oil filter and refill oil after I returned the car to him. He stated this is now the 30k service. However again he did not update computer. I had to turn around after leaving and ask him to do it.The car has only got 40k klm and giving him the benefit of the doubt I did return to him however for the 40k service I went to another mechanic who bought to my attention the state of the filters.Check out filters (photos air filter/cabin filter) that were never checked/changed and have oil all over them.The engine bay is not as a 40k klm car should be, the service computer is all out of whack and I now question whether warranty would stand.Living rural we are limited as to where we can get our cars serviced and unfortunately the dealership for my car is over 140klms away therefore I decided to go the local mechanic who is authorised to service new cars and this is what has occurred, its not fair and its not right when his reply was well you can take it somewhere else ""

Had a four wheel alignment done on my car in Melbourne when i got four new tyres and wasn't happy (VE SSV ute). Took the car into here and came out brilliant. Full printout of where it was and another of where they adjusted it to. Will be going here from now on. Good price good service and saved me destroying a new set of tyres.

I can't believe, I have to drive from Melbourne to Yea to get decent, reliable, affordable service. Even the extra cost of fuel is still cheaper than just having my car done closer. Thanks guys for your friendly, helpful advice. I'll be back, Yea also has great food and great coffee :)
