What an outstanding local shop run by a very helpful and knowledgeable family. Great quality and new ski hire gear at fair prices. Pick up and deliver back on days before and after the actual hire dates at no extra charge. But here’s the best bit: a car next to me at Thredbo car park ran over the skis and damaged them. When I returned them Harry said not to worry and he would absorb the cost of what I expect would be a whole new set of skis into his business operating costs even though his insurance wouldn’t cover it. I felt bad about that and offered him $100 whereupon he thought for a minute and talked me down to $50. Now where, I ask you, do you get service like that these days!? Do yourself a favour, don’t waste valuable skiing time mucking around hiring down at the slopes and sort it out before you go by hiring your gear from The Ark Ski Shop before you leave Sydney. Then you can be on the first lift of the day and still have a decent sleep the night before. Anyone living on the lower North Shore would be crazy not to and our family will be back for sure. My family have been hiring ski gear from this divine family owned shop for over 35 years!!!Each and every time it's like visiting relatives (that you actually like)!!Nothing is ever too much bother and they are happy to accommodate your needs.Their prices are very competitive and they are relaxed and not scarily strict about terms and conditions.There is heaps of competition around now - but these guys have been around forever and they are simply - THE BEST!!Xxxx

This store is an amazing family run store the people there are kind and made sure to take care of me when i was browsing. the younger looking lady especially was incredibly kind and well mannered and made sure i had everything i needed at all time. the elderly looking shop owner was incredibly kind and caring and was looking after everything i needed i would recommend this shop for all your ski products.

Very unpleasant experience with the lady owner.In a very rude way , she told me to leave her shop because I am not buying anything and wasting her time with the questions .And all this happened In front of my 8 years daughter.Very angry woman who is not suppose to work with the people.Will never come back again.
