Wangrah Wilderness Lodge

A haven of peace and tranquility. Our extended family enjoyed the warm hospitality and care of Janelle and her family. We had a bit of a family crisis before we came, with a young child in hospital, so had to adjust our booking a few times. Nothing was a problem to Janelle, she was so flexible and kind. The cabins are right on the banks of the beautiful Mole River; it was a joy to sleep with the windows open, listening to the bubbling waters. To wake up and have a coffee on the deck was delightful. We were impressed with the clean, comfortable cabins, which had lots of firewood provided in case the weather turned cold. The kids loved the space to run around in - next time we will ride bikes. We paddled, fished (successful catch returned to the river), barbequed and had a family party in the gazebo, with mirror ball! I didn't want to leave but nearby Tenterfield has a lot to see and do. We all loved the Rail Museum.Thanks for a wonderful stay!
