I have heard so much about Jasmine Room since it's grand debut and haven't had an opportunity to try until recently.With raised expectations, I was somewhat disappointed as most of the dishes were served like warm. The quality of the dishes were perhaps slightly better compared to some of the Brisbane Yum Cha places.Service was ok. Food came out quite late and at times it was hard to wave a waiter/waitress over.Price-wise, I found the pricing to be very reasonable so no issues there.The restaurant was clean and tidy, very spacious and well lit.Parking was somewhat difficult to find, perhaps because I came on a Saturday and there was only street parking available.Overall, this restaurant is worth trying if you haven't already been. I'll be back to give it another try.

We came here for lunch on a relatively not too busy afternoon, as we were recommended by our friends.The place really sells views, waterfront and overlooks broadwater parklands, outdoor seating is available upon request.The service was efficient and food came out pretty quick. They could’ve been more attentive with our empty teapot. However, the quality wasn’t top notch as what others have claimed. Dim sim was a bit dry and overpriced. Too hype if I may say.

When we arrived we were seated really quickly as we had a booking. But I ordered a couple of dishes and xiao long bao included and it took more than 1 hour for it to arrived because they dropped the slip of paper and I had to check twice with the staff and when I saw people who arrived later have had all their dishes served. Also the xiao long bao was the worst ever, wasn't serve with ginger and without a spoon and look at how thick the skin is! Totally not worth! The only good dish was the prawn dumpling that was big and juicy. My Caucasian partner enjoyed his seafood fried rice but for an asian like me it is totally bland and not worth as well. Will not be back again unfortunately. Only one chinese lady in golden glasses was pleasant to serve us the rest were pretty rude.

Very nice Chinese Restaurant with clear broad water view through windows. Delicious food and well presentation. Bright, clean & tidy air-conditioning environment and friendly staff with smiles sometimes. Central location at Southport with free roadside parking without parking limit time on weekend (2 hours 9-5, M-F). It is a popular dinning place for both locals and Chinese family, especially in Chinese New Year. Excellent online booking system experience with one day ahead booking available for my last Christmas dinner booking when other restaurants were either fully booked or close. Price is fair and valuable. Highly recommend it if you haven't been there.

Wow, wow, wow. Where do I start. The staff were awesome. For a busy restaurant they were so friendly and helpful. The service was great. The food came out quickly and was AMAZING, so much flavour and generous serving sizes. They have a Yum Cha, A La Carte, takeaway, and banquet menu. I highly recommend The Jasmine Room if you enjoy Chinese food. By far the best I have eaten.

A very good and family friendly yumcha restaurant serving good quality food at reasonable prices. Certainly one of the go to ones in Gold Coast. I like in particular their radish cake as this is better than the ones at other yumcha places I've been to. Their egg curtard tarts are also above yumcha standards and are much bigger. Second try at the place. First time was horrible with partially heated dimsum and slow service.Decided to give another try over the weekend. The food has definitely improved with better quality and presentation speed. Overall at par with the acceptable dimsum at brisbane.

Reservation made a week before as we went on a Sunday which must be busy. But once we arrived, the staff told us they couldn’t find our booking. But the manger was nice and he arranged a table for us. The dim sum in general was good, very Hong Kong style. Only the salt & pepper squid was chewy and not much squid to taste. Overall the decor is nice and staffs are friendly. Make your reservation and check your booking again before you go.
