Royal Thai massage @ Q1
Very soft massage not even good for kids , full body massage was ended up half body massage. not for grownups, and don’t take facial with massage it’s a rip off.We booked couple massage, sent to different rooms , no relaxing music at all, not a professional massage , it was like my kids doing massage in circles. Stay away wasted 90mins and $190 for 2 people.

If I need a massage when I come to the Gold Coast, the Royal Thai massage at Q1 is the place I will always come back to. Their massages leave me feeling totally relaxed. I love that they give a lot of attention to your arms, shoulders, and neck, so you leave feeling boneless and stress free. Best of all, they have good deals. The shop is located just outside the entrance of the Q1 hotel, and street parking is available.

I bought a Groupon voucher that included a 90 minute massage for myself and my partner. The voucher included a facial, however I asked to swap the facial out for a foot massage/reflexology instead which cost another $20.I was disappointed with the service and had a bad experience due to the following reasons:- My partner and I were put into separate rooms, despite most other massage places offering a couples' massage when selling a voucher for 2 people. A disclaimer within the voucher would have been sufficient enough.- My partner and I were not asked what type of pressure we wanted to what areas we wanted focus on; these are generally asked at other Thai massage places.- My masseuse (who I thought was just the receptionist) had long, fake nails on. This proved to be uncomfortable and at times painful as her nails dug into my skin. I don't understand why a masseuse would have fake nails when the job is very hands on.- The massage itself was terrible. The masseuse barely applied any pressure and it just felt like she was gently rubbing or tapping my skin. I didn't want to ask her to apply more pressure as I didn't want her nails digging into my skin even more.- My experience wasn't even relaxing as I could hear the teppanyaki restaurant next door. Noises including people shouting and kitchen utensils clanging.- My partner also agreed that his masseuse barely applied any pressure.Definitely not worth the $200+ (voucher and additional costs) and would not recommend, especially as I didn't feel any different after the massage (except more annoyed).

My husband arranged for me to have a pregnancy Thai massage. Unfortunately, it ended up not only being short of the 60 minutes he had paid for, but it felt like I was booked in to have my body moisturised the entire time. It definitely was not a Thai massage, nor was the lady Thai. There was absolutely no tension relief. It did not seem as though the lady was experienced. The pillows used were decorative pillows meaning they were not clean and I was not wiped down before or after the massage. Left feeling far from fresh and relaxed. Wish I had read the other reviews.

The worst experience ever. I and my husband booked a relaxation massage followed by a facial massage. The lady put on random cream and face mask without knowing the skin type. She used only one wet wipe throughout the whole facial massage. She have no clue what she was doing. It seemed like she is not trained at all. We asked for a hot stone massage before we enter the room for a massage. The lady in the front told us they do the hot stone massage. But when during the session, they told me they don’t have a hot stone massage at all. It wasn’t worth paying $260 at all. So, disappointing. I suggest not going to this place.

The worst deep tissue massage. We booked a couples massage for 60min plus 30min foot massage, totalling 90min for 2 people. On arrival we confirmed that the masseuses will be strong and the girl on reception confirmed deep tissue. We were placed in separate rooms, one room was pumping music, not relaxing at all, the other no music at all, my partner had to play relaxing music on his phone. The massage was so soft that you could barely feel it, even after asking for stronger/harder it is still very soft. The foot massage was a disaster, not an actual massage of the foot, just rubbed a whole bunch of oil and rubbed in circle motion only on the arch of the foot, didn't touch the upper section of the foot and toes nor the heel.Worst $200 ever spent!I would not recommend this massage parlour to anyone.

Went here for a couples massage and facial. The ladies were lovely and the massage was nice and relaxing. I would mention you would like your neck and shoulders massaged if you like that because they didn't include it in the 60 min full body package.I would recommend they look into putting a two person massage room in for a couple because we had to go in different rooms - not the end of the world though. It would also be great to have some kind of spa music in the room so it isn't just you listening to the person breathing. The facial was disappointing, it didn't do much. They left us in the room for most of the 30 mins with the mask on. I would have loved them to use the roller more or do a head massage while you sit with the mask on.The massage was good though - I would recommend getting a massage here.

Very professional hard working people. I did enjoy my 1,5 hr relaxation massage and facial as a gift for my birthday. Reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to everyone.
