Chicken Time
Ordered a chicken roll and chips, the roll was pre made and taken from a cold room then microwaved. Very disappointing that a roast chicken shop doesn’t use fresh roast chicken in their rolls. I could have gone to a servo for this standard of food. My partner ordered 1/4 chicken and salad. Chicken was fine but the salads were just coleslaw and potato and looked and tasted like slop.2 stars because the chips were fine.

Chicken Time
I said to my wife . I feel like chicken time tonight, so my wife went to get too get 2, Hawaiian packs tonight we’ve had chicken time before, but tonight the chips were awful, so overcooked that they were so shrivelled up. The pineapple fritter was so small .. The chicken was nice , but not the chicken time with become too know and like we got 2 salads The salad was nice so I’ve given two stars one for the salad and one for the chicken. Hopefully they can do better next time.

Rude StaffFriends had warned me that one staff member here was very rude, they also told me the chips were good.I decided to buy my daughter some hot chips, i was in a rush and had timed my pickup to allow me to get home for a meeting.I called and ordered chips, was told on the phone the chips were going in now and would be ready in 5 minutes.I allowed 10 minutes and ducked in to collect, only to be told, “oh i haven’t cooked them yet but it will only take 5 minutes”….. ummm that’s why i ordered over the phone. No apology, no explanation and she asked “do you want them or not’Wouldn’t recommend, they live up to their reputation.

Chicken Time
I would like to thank chicken time for brilliant service. I needed to feed shearers but had an appointment I couldn't miss. I rang in an order for roast chicken meals and was able to pick them up on time and they were still hot when I hit the shearing shed 25 mins later. The comments were all positive. Thanks Belinda and Ben.

Best gluten free chicken around. You have to get in early though, and with the straightforward chicken as well, because everyone knows how good they are; last Christmas I was just too slow!

I don't buy roasted chickens from anywhere else & staff are always friendly & efficient. I buy their steamed pumpkin as opposed to deep fried, but with the peas, gravy & spuds, it is a great alternative to being time deprived & wanting a roast chicken dinner.

Never disappoints, when visiting Wang, make sure you drop in and visit Chicken Time! Old school chicken shop, always great tasty food, perfect roast chicken and lovely owners and staff. Grab some take away on the way through Wang or sit by the river and enjoy some Chicken Time!
