It is hands down the best Indian restaurant on the bay. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. Special shout-out to Sukhwinder for being very helpful and always having a smile on his face. 110% would recommend going Taj Tandoori. We are here on a trip from Sydney and every single day we’ve come here to enjoy a nice, relaxing dinner after a long, tiring day. Another thing, they handled dietary requirements extremely well so we didn’t have to worry about that.

We dined as a group of 11. The service and quality of food was fantastic. Can recommend the spinach and cheese Naan in particular. The menu caters to a range of dietary requirements including vegans and a range of meat preferences. A great night.

I would definitely not recomend it.Coming this from an Indian.. the food is really bad. We ordered onion bhaji - presentation was really good but it was not an onion bhaji. It was something between bhaji and samosa made with little onion and lots of potato and batter. We ordered tea and onion bhaji and tea came later onion bhaji. The tea was much more horrible than bhaji. The Indian masala tea had no milk, no sugar. It was tea dip in water. We just dint stay for main couse after that experience.

Very disappointed with there quality and quantity which doesn’t match with their prices . Just two kofta in the curry . Totally opposite to curry description, paneer was not fresh, and Overpriced food. I think many time during eating is it panner or tofu they put in chilli paneer.Quality and quantity is not according to their price.

Best Part is you will get an authentic Indian food with a decent ambience and friendly staff.Starters quantity does not match the price tag on it.Few things are over priced not everything so you should be fine. They offer BYO but do charge $2.50 as a corkage fee per person.

My husband and I had a lovely meal here on a quiet Thursday night. Hospitality and food was lovely. Onion Bharji were to die for with real slices of onion in them not the floury overcooked type you usually get. They were amazing. The slow cooked lamb and spinach curry was beautiful. The lamb melted in your mouth. Speaking with the owner she said she always gets the best meat and is very fussy. Very comfortable and nice atmosphere. Will come back on our next visit to NB

Amazing place. Was super busy when we got there but wait wasn’t too long and the food was delicious. Absolutely worth the wait. I guess it explains why the place is so busy. The staff were also very helpful and polite. Highly recommended

Its a bit pricey for the taste, service and ambience.Ordered 3 curries, starters, taste was not good, just edible. Butter chicken was not good. Paneer curry seemed to be old as paneer was dry and chewy.Breads were fine.Starters were OK.Service was slow on Friday evening.Staff was courteous.High chairs available, toilets are not kid friendly.
