My gf and I have a lovely stay here. It’s a quiet place, although you can hear the nearby motorway on occasion. In general the rooms and overall grounds are eclectic. That’s the best way I can think to describe it. It’s certainly different than anywhere else you’d stay. Our penthouse was comfortable and just the right size. Pru runs the joint and is extremely welcoming and overly sweet. If you’re lucky you’ll meet Redge (the dog) and Craig (who takes care of the property and gardens). Would go again.

Such amazing hospitality and generosity. My partner Shannon hurt his back and couldn't ski. We had our two miniature cavoodles with us and our accommodation where we had to check out of on the Sunday didn't have any common areas he could hang at with them whilst I skied on our last day. Shannon was welcomed at Bimblegumbie to relax and enjoy the premises. I only wish we discovered this place earlier so we would have stayed here instead. Definitely will be booking this for our next snowweekend. Thank you!!

If I can give no star at all I would give it to this place, not sure where all the reviews are coming from. house is way smaller than in the photos. It's so dusty and the sheets aren't washed, my daughter has eczema and flared up crazily EVERY time we are in the house and have worsen throughout the stay. Funnily soon as we left, her skin got so much better. Hmm wonder if those were from all the dust mites? Place has this funky smell. Can't find this place as well you we got lost so many times while trying to find it. Far from town centre.

Interesting accommodation in a alpine bush setting. The room we were in was warm and cosy. We went during summer when the nights were cool and the days fairly warm. The room had a full kitchens with all the amenities. We stayed in the Studio room which was a bit small for a couple and a baby but not too bad. The place is dog and kid friendly and we met some very nice people while staying there. The properly is littered with very interstate art works and sculptures. There is a seperate communal/open area which is part of another home. This is open to all guests and is very interesting inside. You will either love the place or be unsure about it! There was a TV and DVD player in our room which was the Studio and there is mobile reception throughout the property.

A lovely place with tones of personality and best of all it's dog friendly! The host, Pru is lovely and welcoming and the resident dog, Reggie is very friendly. He accompanied us on our walk around the grounds!

We all love this place to bits. Certainly one for a repeat visit. Lots and lots to do, a great walk up the hill. Interesting little gems hidden all over the place. Our 3 year old says he loves it.Pru the hostess is lovely and has it all running just right.

We agreed with Pru it is hard to give a place like this 5 stars or we would. This place was perfect for us as a dad and two younger make skiers. Great to have our own room with kitchenette and then share the dinning room with fire places at nights. Boys bonded over pool with the other guests....see you next time

Such a quirky spot, with so much character. Gorgeous garden and endless views. Fabulous fires inside and out to keep us warm and cosy. Pru and Craig are great hosts. We all loved our stay - thank you Bimblegumbie! Highly recommended.

Are any more words necessary? It is just as the previous reviewers have described , from all the fairy tale like features that dots the place all the way to the lovely hostess Pru and the nicely run place , not to mention the cute little pets that always trot to greet you everytime you walk around the place. This place is really a great escape to freedom and peace! Too bad I can't find like minded friends to visit Crackenback with me. :(

Bimblegumbie is a beautiful destination and is a home away from home for those who stay.The hostess Pru is a beautiful lady with pizzazz who ensures her guests enjoy their stay.The property features many beautiful works of art in the home and guest rooms as well as the gardens.Anyone choosing to stay at Bimblegumbie will be sure to return time and time again.I know we will.
