Automatic gates were fantastic and they worked with me to design exactly want I envisioned. The quote came in quickly and was within my budget. The job was finished at exactly the time they said, prompt and reliable.I would highly recommend them for any future projects.

Brian built us an electronic gate, this was complicated due to COVID. He surpassed our expectations in his communication, professionalism and ultimately quality of delivery. We cannot recommend Brian and his team highly enough.

In October 2020 we engaged Brian from JCO Metal Fence to come and quote us for a new fence.Our initial contact with Brian was excellent. He came to quote immediately and advised a 3 week turn around once deposit was made.We made the deposit on the 2nd November therefore believing we would have the fence completed by 24th November 2020.Once deposit was made, we notice communication was not as forthcoming as out initial consultation.On the 2nd December we emailed Brian to find out when the fence would be installed, he advised it was booked in for Thursday. I arranged to be home that day but he didn’t show. Fence was installed Saturday.During Installation we started to noticed inconsistencies in his workmanship. Parts were missing, measurements on a few panels were wrong, but what was most disappointing was his lack of care. Part of the installation meant he had to core drill the concrete to put the gate posts in. No care was taken to cover the newly painted brick work. When we questioned him on the cement stains on the brick work he simply said it should come off and did not offer to clean it. We spent days scrubbing the brick work in order to remove the cement marks.What we couldn’t understand was the extreme rush job on the day and “lack of finishing's” which was very armature like. When we continued questioning him on his finishing’s - i.e. “why are some of the screws colour coded and others not”, his response was that he needs to get a certain amount painted at once and he wasn’t ready to do that.When questioned why the gate lock was cut too big his response was “remember it was late at night and I was doing it in the dark” …. In which we replied, “that’s not our issue”. He said he would patch it up even though we requested a new post. See pictureWe were amazed that he would only screw panels with one screw per bracket instead of two seeing there are two holes.Brian’s idea of fixing things is touching up mistakes with a spray can which doesn’t even match original colour of the fence.When we told Brian there was an issue with the alignment of the electric gates Brian said it’s a simple adjustment but wouldn’t be able to do it as all his tools were stolen (more excuses) and he had to make the tool and continued by say “I wouldn’t hold your breath as I’m busy and not sure when I’ll get a chance to make the specific tool required.We are writing this review to warn people when you initially engage Brian he will sell you the world. His phone manner and approachability is excellent and we genuinely wanted to give him a go as he has a young family and came across gun ho. From a distance the fence looks fantastic, up close it looks like it was installed by a first year apprentice.3 months down the track, we have had no response to our email and are left with a gate unaligned, a pedestrian gate patched up (and non functional), multiple coloured screws and rough patched up paint jobs.The only advise we can give is to please check his work before making full payment.
