If you have a mud brick, lots of timber or similarly constructed house then you have to come here. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and always interested in what you're doing and helping you with finishing your project to a high standard.

After driving over an hour to Grimes were were “welcomed” by a very unfriendly and rude lady. She was extremely unhelpful and couldn’t wait for us to leave. Grimes is supposed to be a specialist place based on service etc but our experience was terrible and we won’t ever return. It’s sad that a small family business presents so poorly and in time they will become irrelevant with such poor service. I don’t think that lady should ever have access to customers, please keep her in the back office. We ended up visiting the Haymes Paint Shop in Abbotsford and their service was just so refreshing when compared to Grimes.

Went in the other day only to be served by a very rude women working there, extremely unfriendly, unhelpful and belittling. Some basic customer service skills and manners can go a long way….

I hope their in store manners are better than their phone manners, I called to ask about mudbrick paint a couple of days ago and the women that answered was really unfriendly, almost to the point of being rude.Edit: We ended up purchasing 30 litres from Eltham PaintRight who also stock the Haymes Artisan Mudbrick paint - James was really helpful.
