Ordered some parts for a South Pacific Winch and service was prompt, arrived fast and as ordered, i actually forgot to order a couple of small parts (spring and screw etc) and Bob sent the next day, i have read the reviews but i had no issues, thanks Bob my 20 year old winch has a new lease on life and i dont have to manually retrieve my anchor!!! Hind sight is a wonderful thing when dealing with BOB.We bought a used ATV from him roughly 6 months ago. We knew that it been damaged by a fire on the engine but we're assured that he would have it running like new. It has cost us a couple of grand extra due his shoddy so called mechanical repairs. He had no idea on how to repair this machine.After several frustrating phone calls to him I contacted the ACCC / CBS and put in a complaint. We kept all receipts regarding the motor repairs, we would have appreciated him coming to the party and paying for these $500 worth. We sent him a letter with copies for receipts, we did not include the cost of labour as I am a mechanic of over 40 years in the trade. He was contacted by the CBS and he we assume lied to them saying the machine was in perfect condition and fit for use, IT WAS NOT.If you take him on face value" DON'T it has coat us $1000.00's more than expected.We are extremely disappointed that he continues to trade in this way"

Well he is still at it. We waited for ever for an order, finally called him and decided to cancel the order at the end of that phone call. The very next day he debited the credit card. The goods, (not the order we placed), arrived a few days ago from his Supplier. I called him to try to arrange a way for everyone involved to be made whole and all he wanted to do was argue the point with me. I too, am forced to reverse the credit card transaction. I did contact the supplier to ask if he would take back the goods, they didn't want to take any responsibility for what I see, as their distributor. They indicated that they had received many calls regarding Bob and the errors he is making. Don't use him. I wish we had of read the reviews before ordering from Precision Marine.

THIS BUSINESS SHOULD NOT EVEN GET 1 STAR.....$250 for a boat inspection and 12 hour return trip for a boat that Bob inspected and said was in good repair. He didn't notice the cracks in the hull under the water line. SHONKI Requested Bob to do a boat inspection. The boat was located just outside of Hamilton. I requested the inspection as I am located 6 hours away in Adelaide. Bob sent through photos of the boat and noted that it was in good repair but could do with a clean. After I received the report from Bob that the boat was in good repair, I organized a time with the seller for me to come and have a quick look then purchase the boat. After driving 6 hours based on Bob's report I turned up at the sellers and had a quick once over the boat only to find that the hull had multiple cracks under the water line.After speaking with Bob about this his response was that he reported on everything that he saw, this I do not have a problem with. The problem I have is that he did not report that the vessel was not sea worthy as it has multiple cracks underneath it. When I asked if he would cover my fuel expense his response was that you aren't getting any money back. I didn't want all the money that I paid as he did do some of the job he was asked to do but he was not accommodating.

Bloke that runs this place is a flake . Sold me goods which were said to be new but were second hand. Only got my money back by reversing the credit card. He never even replied to the bank.Would not recommend at all.

I wish I read the reviews prior to dealing with this person(Bob) Thanks to the bank for reimbursing me the money that he took and didn't send me the product. I have reported him to Hamilton Police and they have spoken to him. I also reported him to crime stoppers and they ensured me that they are going to investigate him for fraud. I also reported him to ACCC and they are going to look into it as well. If more people feel they are taken by this person just report him to Crime Stoppers and ACCC, there is no use arguing with him you don't get any sense out of him.

Terrible service over the phone! can not evan remember what you just said. doesn't understand what you talk about even reading word for word what is writen on their website. I will never recommend this shop to anyone.

CAUTION this business is a SCAM! Have purchased and fully paid for products and NEVER RECEIVED. Lost all contact with owner, currently in contact with fair work and trade to get money back. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS BUSINESS!!!!
