As I have experienced throughout south Australia. The removal of rubbish bins has had a VERY detrimental impact on the roadside stops. The minister for the SA environment needs to be sacked for his actions of removing the rubbish bins. Also there are very few if any toilet facilities for the traveling public. This is not good enough in the 21st century.

Easy access Bush camping vista views not to close to road, some road noise overnight. Rubbish bins and tracks behind main rest area for a safe night sleep. Telsta mobile reception, dogs allowed, camp fires.

Great free camp located well off the road within trees for privacy. Good access for large vans. Self contained only. Pet friendly

This is my third time staying here :) and it is currently one of my favourite spots! I usually stay here to chill out and enjoy the birds before heading off to Lawrie Park (free campsite).P.s. there are two camping spots... this one and a bigger camping spot further ahead. At the other spot you'll find the crumbling site of the Old Cohen school building.

If you are comingfrom or heading to Adelaide, this right here is a perfect spot for an overnight stay. We put up the tent here and even if the road is nearby we had a quiet stay. Were the only ones there, no facilitys but clean and beautiful scenery.
