Be Free Saddle Fitting

Luke has been my saddle fitter for more than 3 years. I have him regularly to my dressage horses. He is always polite and helpful, he is independent and doesn’t recommend one brand of saddle which I find reassuring. Horse welfare is very important to him and he makes a huge effort to get it right for my horses. Although I met him initially as a client, it is now to the point I consider him a friend, as he is unfailing pleasant and chatty. I recommend Luke whole heartedly.

Luke is a wonderful saddle fitter, he is very thorough when examining the horses and is great at explaining what is or isn’t working with the horses body, the saddle, or the rider and how to best go about correcting these problems, he makes it clear that it’s very important to him that the horse is comfortable and happy.I enjoy my saddle fitting days, Luke is on time and always smiling, a true professional with a wealth of knowledge, there is always something to learn.

I highly recommend Luke and Dianne. They are reliable, consistent and have great customer service. Always come back to me and try to accommodate me in Luke’s schedule as good as they can. They always contact me if Luke is running behind schedule - this maybe happened twice in 5 -6 years.I love that Luke doesn’t represent a certain saddle brand, therefore he can advise on whatever saddle is best for you and your horse. He understood that at the beginning I couldn’t afford a brand new, custom saddle and recommended a few saddles that would fit my horse. The second hand saddle I bought was thoroughly checked over, to make sure the saddle was fit for purpose. He happily answers any questions I have.When Luke comes for the regular saddle checks, he thoroughly checks the saddle, tops up flocking if necessary and he always stays and watches you ride to make sure the saddle is balanced.

I have used Luke from Be Free Saddle fitting for my 2 ponies and he has been nothing but amazing. Always helpful and informative, helped me with the saddle i had and then with my next saddle after that. Always looking out for the best interests of both the ponies and myself, so that they are comfortable and protecting their back and muscles, and making sure that im in the saddle in the right position. I cannot recommend Luke more highly, hes such an amazing and genuine human, all about the horses and the saddles so all are comfy and safe. Cannot thank him enough for all hes done for me and my ponies over the years.

Luke has always been helpful. He is caring towards my horse’s needs. Interestingly when he first fitted my saddle, another fitter had only just worked on it. It just wasn’t right. Within the first minute of riding after Luke had fitted the saddle, the difference was amazing.

Luke from Be Free Saddle Fitting has been fabulous with fitting my ponies saddles, the first time I met Luke I had used a number of other fitters, none ever suggested moving the points, within half an hour I finally had a saddle that didn’t slip forward!My second pony I was wanting a new saddle, Luke gave me recommendations in size and a few brands he has been excellent with communication, answering all my questions and there were a lot! I now have an amazing saddle which has changed my riding life, I couldn’t believe the difference riding in a saddle which fit my pony and myself.
