It's borderline five star but for the fact that you can hear the neighbours even though they were talking quietly. It is well fitted out with great views which we didn't see much of because of the rain

We had a lovely stay at Owl Head Lodge. We stayed in the glass studio and it was lovely, well set out with everything we needed. The setting is amazing, beautiful sunsets and stunning night skies. Lots of animals including Archie the highland cow!! Our hosts were very nice and helped when we needed.I think next time I'd chose the shearers cottages, as once our neighbours moved in, I felt a bit weird and had to keep the blinds closed which defeated the purpose of the glass room!Super relaxing holiday!!

Really unique accommodation and truly magnificent. If you're travelling to Mudgee or just passing through think about staying here. The cottage is fully equipped and provided large covered verandah's on both sides. Plenty of outdoor furniture for resting, enjoying a few drinks, or dining whilst admiring the rural views. Also has a covered BBQ area, a large pool and cabana. This would be a great place to stay for a family reunion or special gathering. Has a good sized fire pit, lots of seating and firewood. A well presented, clean and comfortable accomodation choice for all ages. Highly recommended.

Great destination to chill out with a byo grazing platter and refreshing wine. Go no where and enjoy the ambience. Loved the place.

Absolutely Fabulous! We booked the glass cottage. Glass everywhere and views to forever. The double sided slow combustion fire place creates a beautiful ambience. Comfy lounges and the kitchen is kitted out with everything you need. Come and visit. Rest and relax and head home refreshed. Definitely 5 stars!
