Love shopping in Aldi. We love to be able to get products not available at the big boys supermarket, also with a distinct European feel. Pricing is great, friendly and helpful staff.

Staff member Stacey was fantastic and helpful. Unfortunately the item I was most interested in was not on sale until the follow week as I read the catalog dates wrong as it said on grocery side this week but for items like TVs etc was not on sale until following week which was upsetting.

Finally this morning I went to aldi super market. I didn't see that the price was so low unless I heard it. When campare with Coles. I felt that the vegetable section was not getting much attention.

Absolutely disgusting! Went into there with my two grandchildren aged 16 + 17 to do some shopping. We went into the alcohol section in which they did not walk into. We proceed to the checkout where she asks my granddaughters their age. After that she gave them a lecture on how they shouldn’t be going into the alcohol section even though they didn’t. Then she scans the bottle and proceeds to hand it to my underage granddaughter to put into the bag. A few minutes later she goes to my granddaughter “did u pack that into the bag” and calls the manager over saying she can’t sell it to us anymore because they assumed it was for the granddaughters. Absolutely disgusting that she gave it to my daughter and then we could not purchase it because some employee gave it to my grandchild but then put the blame on us. She should not be working there the way she spoke was truly disgusting and the way she acted was very unprofessional

Staff are always helpful and friendly.

Was on holidays, this aldi is as good as any in Canberra. Has some different options.

25/09/2022ALDI - LAKES ENTRANCEManager of store processed my payment by credit card which was successful. He was unable to provide me with a receipt as everything locked up whilst he was entering in the details. Again, I had paid by credit card and it clearly showed at the time that the transaction went through successfully. He then tells me it was unsuccessful." I was totally amazed...I thought he was joking. He wasn't!I then asked the "Manager" to give me a receipt showing the first transaction to be void. He refused. Told me (as witnessed) I cannot take my groceries until I pay for them again. The first transaction showed that the payment was valid and was processed. Again I requested a void receipt before making another payment. Not forthcoming. The only thing forthcoming was contempt. Not even an apology was given.I was getting no where. I then decided to contact Customer Service. The Manager is the most obnoxious and ill qualified person I have ever had the misfortune to meet in my life (I come from a Sales & Marketing background). I ended up paying for my groceries twice which now shows on my bank statement as two separate payments. He said this would not happen as the first payment would "bounce back." Whatever that means.This now has taken up a considerable amount of my time as I had to contact Customer Service on numerous occasions and go back to the store twice
