Tweed Shire Council website advises that the toilets are closed until further notice but fails to mention so are the tracks. Hence the tracks not being maintained.Disappointed to get there and see no signage about closures until too late. Plus the place is mosquito infested. Bit of a ghost town feel.

Great environment track. The amenities have be all removed or locked up due to continued graffiti and damage. Very pretty and a good place for great scenic exercise. Have taken a wheelchair along all tracks unfortunately I can't recommend pushing one along the long tracks due to exposed tree roots and large rocks and mud, it makes it a very hard task. Lots of bike riders utilising that track and it seems well suited to that.

Pottsville Environmental Park
If you love walking through nature or birding, this is the place for you! Lots of walking tracks to keep you busy. First impressions are a little dodgy. Usually quiet, lots of graffiti and closed facilities. Other than that, its a peaceful place to be. Bring mozzy spray as the mosquitoes are quite abundant and aggressive.
