We're going here for the lapidary club, this place is fantastic. With a huge display to admire, an awesome range of minerals, crystals, to choose from so you can easily learn from experienced people to cut, grind, polish, facet ect. You can make your own jewellery at a very affordable cost. This place really is for everyone who loves this kind of crafting. Opened on Saturdays only wingham rockhounds is the place to be.

Ian and the team of the Showground are amazing and saved our wedding! With very late notice and a hail mary email Ian reached out and said they might be able to help and help they did.Ian was very helpful and went above and beyond to help make sure our special day was able to happen. The location to town and the facilities on site with parking, clean and spacious bathrooms, cover, and kitchen for cleaning up made the set up and pack up a breeze. Can't thank them enough for what they did on such short notice.

Lovely country showground that hosts the annual Wingham show usually in March. The show is a true country show with a small vibrant sideshow alley supplied by Flattherty Amusements. The pavilions have fruit, vegetatables, flowers, wooden articles, knitwear, photography and a separate handicrafts pavilion.Fine arts are housed in the luncheon hall but don't expect to get afternoon tea after 3pm as the ladies close way too early.A second food hut near the ring serves a range of hot foods along with drinks.A bar operates.Various traders also provide different foods and the sale of goods. The program includes all the usual horse, poultry & cattle classes along with sometimes a rodeo but always a demo derby ,well two often, and the traditional fireworks display on Saturday evening by cdpearsonfireworks. The grounds during the rest of the year are home to many community groups such as The Men's Shed.Camping is catered for both RV's and tent sites at a reasonable price.
