Beautiful scenic stop, with enough room for caravan parking. Away from everything. But no facilities ie toilet or chair & table.

Fabulous river! Free campsite but limited.Crowded of people during holiday otherwise it’s very relaxing. We had a great time here! oh! don’t forget to bring a lot of drinking water and repellent!

Amazing place to go camping. Beautiful scenery well worth the four hour drive from Melbourne. No phone reception once you enter Mansfield State Forest so if your looking for an off the grid weekend away this is a great place for it. Although unsuccessful on my trip, you can go fishing here. Horse riding is welcome and there is a 4WD track if your up for that sort of thing. Highly recommend the area for a camping trip.

take care if towing a caravan or trailer its a long and winding dirt road/track. some very tight corners. drive slow and stay on correct side of road at all times. ive seen many accidents and near misses on most of the corners caused by stupid drivers cutting corners ( without vans or trailers also) . Its a nice place but getting very overcrowded. its a long way to go then not be able to find a spot to set up.
