Played my first game of golf at Bairnsdale Golf Club. Didn't play very well, but it was only my 3rd game in 3 years. The course is excellent. Hope I play better next time.

Great course,heaps of bunkers and loveley scenery. The fairways are some of the best ive played on....the rude bloke that couldnt even say good morning before barking at us theough the sign in and even sighing when we wanted to buy a drink however was not so great. If i was assured hed be there the next time i played i wouldnt return!

Bairnsdale Golf Club
I found the course generally straight and flat. Playing here over summer the fairways were well maintained but very hard with lots of bounce and roll. Greens were also hard and very fast. Playing here at 9:30am midweek I expected would be quiet, but probably because it's the only course nearby it was still very busy and congested on the front 9, but opened up on the back. There is also a lawn bowls club there and a function room.

Nice open country course. Staff were friendly and accommodating for visitors with club and buggy hire. Well run and very well kept course with country views and lookout to the lake. Nice clubhouse with coffee and beers etc. Highly recommend.
