Hyde Park is a great park in Perth which was boosted a few years ago by the addition of a water play area. The water area is fantastic for the kids and there is plenty of space around for picnic rugs. There is also a decent amount of shade.There is a main play area for children and also a smaller one. The main one had good variety for the children.

Great place to walk the dog or kid. Three massive ovals, play ground pretty good, free bbq areas, toilets etc. Lots of parking. Great scenic sunset views in afternoons with massive gum trees. In afternoons the sports club is open for some tap beer at cheap prices. Great little rest

I love this big place very much. Whenever I get a chance to see the locals there, I such a enthusiastic mood for soccer. I'm mad and young again. Every weekend, peoples play in the sunshine or in the rain. During the day or night. Hey man, just listen to the cheerings and applauses so delightful. Oh Dear, tell me what you think about this place!

Nice playground with free BBQs and undercover area. Plenty of grass ovals to run around on. Play equipment is a bit basic and no actual 'swing' . Also situated right underneath a huge mobile tower if that bothers you.

Nice parklands used for football and other sports. Kids playground as well to keep the smaller ones busy.

Large park made up of several different ovals with a pavilion and playground. Lots of room for kids to run around and pets to wander and interact. Is often frequented by a few dogs so if your pet isn't very friendly or prone to being a bit mean it may be best to take a different route.The park is kept in good condition and the paths are also well maintained. Overall a really good place to go.

Great family park. Has multiple covered tables with bench seats, barbeques and the all important toilet-block. Large grassed ovals for various sports and free play (many local cricket and soccer teams play here). Great playground, includes a sand pit with fossils" earning is local name "the dinosaur park". Only downside is that some of the playground equipment is in only modest condition."
