I love the Gorge, this place is heaven for Mountain Bikers and bush walking. Check out the Plenty Gorge MTB Club for more detail on guided rides in the Gorge

Yellow Gum Park
Nice quiet place. Great for a day out. Too bad I didn't bring a bather but next time I will. Don't own a dog but don't understand why dogs are not allowed there even on leash. Witnessed park rangers told people that this is no dogs area. I mean what's the harm having them in nature and keep them on leash.

Plenty of walking trails and a maze of MTB trails in this region of the gorge. The circuit around Blue Lake is a popular one. People also swim in the lake. If you're spending the afternoon there, please remember to take your own rubbish away with you. It was sad to see a lot of rubbish left and empty bottles in the lake.

Nice park not far from the city. Highly recommended.Lots of trails for exploring with creeks, lakes and hillsSpot multiple animals such as birds, rabbits, kangaroos and even wombats. However it can a bit un-relaxing with all the bikes. Lots of bmx tracks as well

Yellow Gum Park
A nice spot for a walk with pretty sunset views. Thé there are a few different tracks you can take, some of them are bmx tracks which are still walkable but steep in some parts.Lots of wildlife, I saw a wombat and an echidna and lots of birds and kangaroos.

Absolutely stunning place, the tracks are well marked and not too hard on the foot. Good facilities and some well loved peace and quiet not far from the city!TOP TIP: Sit down at blue lake and watch the birds swirling over the water, it’s beautiful!

Yellow Gum Park
Somehow ended up in Mill Park and found this landmark in the vicinity and decided to give it a visit which ended up being a good trek as we were pressed for time. The natural Landscape is really beautiful with a breathtaking cliff overlooking a lake surrounded by Gums! Would have liked to spend more time!
