Growling Frog Golf Course

Very friendly reception/staff. Beautiful course and fantastic Graham Marsh design all in the middle of nature. Loved seeing the kangaroos just casually hopping over the course. Coming from the UK I couldn’t believe the value for money…., had a great day and can only recommend it.

The course was in excellent condition with the exception of the bunkers which had been rain damaged but apart from that, well worth having a round or two there.We also had a beer and a meal after the game, it was worth the trip just for the lunch which was also excellent.All of the staff from the proshop to the bistro were both friendly and offered prompt service.All in all a very pleasant experience and would gladly go back.

Went for lunch only midweek. Great menu incl. specials and seniors. Excellent service. Food fresh, flathead tails was a the best pick and good value. The 4 meals were all super size. Well done to the chef. Thoroughly recommend to others.

Really beautiful course but very long... definitely need a cart on a hot day. Haven't played there for a few years and good to see one home I hated with the domed green has gone.... happy new.... and you get lots of friends to watch you along the way later in the day....

If you are looking for a real summer course, This would be the one. Beatifully layout yet challenging giving the best combination of the day. The front 9 were fun, the best spot to take picture is the Hole no. 9 and 10. The back 9 were challenging. Never under estimate this course. The staff were welcoming. the Caffe definately very nice spot to enjoy after game. Enjoy Growling Frog

It's a links course so it gets very windy. It can impact the way you play your shots. It's a tricky terrain and will challenge your game. Also, I wouldn't recommend you go there after a wet day or on a wet day as the course drainage is very poor. It gets quite muddy and boggy to walk thru. It was about an hour drive away for me and my friends. My friends were running late due to navigation and they called ahead to let the pro shop know but the older guy handling the pro shop there was quite abrupt and rude to my friend on the phone. Additionally one was 21 and they said under 21s can pay junior rates. But at the desk, the gentleman said it's under 21 meaning they had to be 20.When you go to a bar which says over 18, doesn't mean you have to be 19 to enter. Very poor customer service on his part.
