We had a lovely time at the airport. There was an air show being held and it was a spectacular event . There were enough activities for everyone to participate in activities for children such as face painting jumping castles. For the adults and families there were facilities enough for everybody and plenty of food available.

Fantaatic place to learn how to fly. Less traffic means more time in the air, and the instructors really know their stuff. Aircraft are all really well maintained, and prices are super competitive. Also, you have the backdrop of the mountains whenever you're training - absolutely beautiful!

Fantastic experience so far from superb, confidence-inspiring instructors James, Damian and Chris, the last of whom took me up for a trial instructional flight in very high winds yesterday, but all went very well and much smoother than I had thought, given the conditions, especially the landing. Each instructor has their own focus and approach so you really benefit from the mix. Freya handles the admin efficiently and there is a low-stress vibe that you probably wouldn't get at a larger, atc-controlled airport.

I booked it in for my first flying lesson 2:30. The people sounded really nice!!They were also very helpful and I havn't even flown yet!I have flown now and all I can say is they're very helpful as I have only 20% of my hearing the pilot had plenty of time for me and was very helpful and freindly, Five Stars +

Starting out my journey towards getting my pilots licence. It's been a fantastic first couple of sessions. Very much looking forward to future flights here. The aircraft are very well maintained and staff are professional and friendly.

To hire theyre aircraft you will need to do a flight check every 90 days. Not necessary. A money spin.Friendly staff but lack giving correct information.If i had to do a flight check every 3 months for all the aircraft i hire from various airports/airfields i wouldnt have any money left to fly solo.I can understand an initial check to see if a pilot is proficient , but every 3 months is unnecessary.
