Nice short walk around the lake.Further away is bone dry and dusty.

Nice relaxing walk around the dam on the Northern side of the park then went through the tunnel which is around 150 metres long and you need to crouch over so the backs of the thigh muscles get a working out, when you come out on the southern side of the park the walk is more of a work out, lots of up hill and down hill sections to get the heart rate up. Trail is not marked, I just did a big loop and back through the tunnel.

Fairly easy walk around the lake.Would be nice to have a couple of seats to sit and relax but found a log instead.Lots of fairy wrens and other birds around.True about the freeway noise quite loud.Parked on Milne Rd entrance

Totness Recreation Park
Nice little circuit around the lake. Lots of little areas to explore like fallen trees and an old hollowed out gum tree. Only downside is the road noise from the freeway interfering with the bird calls.

Nice little half hour stroll around a water reserve. Not overly managed paths.

Totness Recreation Park
Good place to let the dogs and children run wild with damns and awesome trees. Very quite with a nice parking area. A bit of wild life such as butterfly's, cow's, interesting birds and the occasional koala.

The popular northern section shouldn't be confused with the rugged southern section. The freeway separates the park into the northern section, with the pleasant walking trail around the dam, and the southern section, which rugged terrain, walking trails and steep fire tracks.
