Parafield Airport

The airport is loud and the noise is deafening to the pilots who say but the airport was here before you I agree but they didn’t start training pilots till 1982 after the houses where built and the people moved in and the airplane muffler was invented in 1919 so they are needlessly loud.

What a lot of your comments about this airport being here first, that is not the problem, the problem is that we are in the 21st century, surely you can make these planes quieter, especially those twin props that fly at all hours, you cant even leave a window open, on a nice evening.Get your stuff together and try to sort it out.

The sheer amount of noise the planes make is absurd, and for all those who are whining about “don’t move there,” follow me; you’re paying rent

Great airport and facilities. All those whinging about the noise, duh what did you expect? It's an airport, planes aren't quiet. The airport has been here a lot longer than the houses, so the people whinging chose to live here knowing full well there was an airport next door.

Enjoy it every time. Even if the airport were to relocate, eg. a bit further north, no doubt houses would be built nearby eventually and the whingers would still move there. Some people just like whinging as a hobby these days. Many of the hypocrite one star reviewers have reviews in different countries, so obviously if they want to travel, we're going to need to train more staff for it, including pilots.

HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT OUR DANK!In all seriousness, though, to those who say those who post (legitimate) reviews complaining about noise should move or shut up, and that the land was the airport's first, in Dank's video about this place he says that in the 50's the airport was built for smaller use, in the 60's and 70's urban areas and neighbourhoods expanded, and then the airport started doing laps. Also, some people can't afford to move out, as SA (specifically Adelaide) has been in a housing bubble. Finally, recreational planes have lead in their fuel, and before you say but it's only a little lead

Too loud, do not get an Air BnB anywhere near hear. Laps and pollution 24/7. Few rich people buzz killing life for everyone else.

Great airport, a little slow due to lark of International student pilots training.If you want learn to fly Fixed wing or Roto style aircraft now is time . Many Flying schools to choose from. Also aircraft maintenance various places there.

They don't deserve a star rating, wish I could put no stars.Parafeild airport is joke!! The staff and schools that work out of there are arrogant inconsiderate disrespectful and when you ring them up , they hang up on you...It's disgraceful how they hide behind the government cause of the money it brings into them..99% are student pilots from overseas and 90% of planes and helicopters are thedisrespectful pilots from the FTA ...The noise is CATASTROPHIC" People on the ground have different laws to the pilots in the sky it's a disgrace the how community has "NO SAY" on what goes on there...."
