Market Square Deception Bay
Handy local shops for Deception Bay residents. The site has been a construction site for a few years now. Hopefully they will get back to work and finish the redevelopment so the centre can offer a better shopping experience for locals. Has a Woolworths and also Centrelink in the complex.

A good set of local shops. Not a huge range of stores but after it's renovated will have 2 major supermarkets, a good butcher, nice bakery and a fish shop. There is a small selection of other shops but I imagine that will change as the renovations are completed. Kebab shop is excellent.

There's more to this place than first meets the eye. Woolworths is their major tenant but once the extensions are complete later this year, they will also boast a Coles under the same roof. Great convenience for those of us who shop the specials at both supermarkets. They have a pub and two bottle shops (BWS and Dan Murphy's) a pharmacy that's open late, heaps of fast food options including Hungry Jacks and Domino's. Doctors, pathology lab and diagnostic imaging are all here too.

Market Square Deception Bay
This shopping center is not as busy as Westfield North Lakes, actually pretty quiet usually. Lots of car parks for the elderly, disabled, and mums with kids. Construction of the extension still going on, new bus stops already in place, Deception Bay is on the rise, an upcoming suburb that's for sure. One Sunday, when I went there during the day, many shops were shut, probably a reflection of a sleepy shopping mall for the moment...

Parking could do with more lighting at night time. Its so dark that even at the pedestrian crossing you have to look twice because you can't see people waiting to cross. They look like they're doing some more work in the car park but I would highly recommend they invest in more lighting in the car park. Other than that there's plenty of parking space.

Market Square Deception Bay
Very clean, everyone that passes has a warm smile. The staff at Michel's are beautiful, ( especially Kylie ) she always make you feel special. Always the toilets are spotless, Woolworth staff are always helpful. The chemist staff are also very nice. Overall I'm very happy shopping here.
