Oriel Park
Great enclosed playground area for the kids. A few large branches fell from the massive tree the day we were there, could have been bad. Apart from that, great facilities and plenty of shade for having a picnic.

Oriel Park
Beautiful established park with toilets. Has a large, gated kids play area with 2 play forts, one for small kids & one for older kids. Has a small outdoor gym (covered). 4 or 5 tables & plenty of large leafy trees if you bring a blanket to sit on. Large turf area for outdoor games. Easy parking. IGA across the road.

I have visited Oriel Park many times over the past five decades. For me, it is a special place as I once attended the St. Michael's Anglican primary school in Clayfield. In fact,Oriel Park is a fairly ordinary suburban public park. It is very well kept, clean, and tidy.

This is a stunning park; a true gem and boasts a wide range of amenities that cater to visitors of all ages. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. The park features an impressive array of playground equipment, including swings and slides that are perfect for young children. The equipment is well-maintained and appears to be very safe, which is always a top priority for parents. I was impressed by the variety of activities available for children, which included climbing structures, slide tunnels, and much more. One of the highlights of the park is the historic roller, which is nice to see incorporated into the playground. In addition to the playground, the park also has several picnic areas and plenty of green space for visitors to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The landscaping is well-maintained and provides a beautiful backdrop for visitors to take in the sights and sounds of the park.Overall, I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun and memorable day out. Whether you are a family with young children or a group of friends looking for a place to relax, this park has something for everyone. The combination of beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and exciting attractions make this park a must-visit destination for anyone in the area.
