Brighton Park
We have some great parklands in Brisbane. Brighton Park has a couple of picnic tables as well as a great area for fishing. It also is the start of the creek so it is extremely pretty.Great views of the old hornibrook bridge, redcliffe and the mouth of the river.Wonderful area to take children for fishing and a picnic. Also has Miette's tree (see photos below). One of my favourite local areas in Brighton

Nice little beach on the river. Good to walk on the beach at low tide.Unfortunately a few permanent tents and not many parking spaces, but it's good if you are going for the beach.

Great place to bring the dog or just have a walk when the tide is out. I’ve seen a fair few people fish here too when the tide is out.Checkout out my photos for a pic of the wildlife here too!

Brighton Park
Great spot for the family. Nice beach at low tide and good fishing at times. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. Sheltered seating area. Needs more car parks.

Brighton Park
Nice spot for fishing, swimming, paddle craft and dogs allowed off leash. Beware, there are no toilets or amenities. The shoreline tends to have lots of sharp shells etc so I would recommend water shoes or things if you are walking the waters edge. These shells do not continue into the water so swimming barefoot is fine.

A beautiful place usually. As of this review, a few homeless people have set up camp.Nice place for sunrise and sunset photos. It is a great place to launch a kayak and explore.Plenty of parking. The old Hornibrook Bridge platform can be used for a spot fishing.
