Tough mentally. Coarse is in top knick. Lovely staff, including the guys working on the coarse. Friendly and warm, can't wait to get there again soon.

Gailes is an excellent course with a great team. Proshop team are exceptionally experienced and friendly. Tough course off my handicap.

Great course, well kept, good price. The holes vary with difficulty which keeps the game interesting. Some beautiful elevated tees, water hazards and bunkers well placed to ensure you pull all the tricks out of the hat. Golf buggies seem really new and were great to drive around in.

Enjoyed the course. Challenging but fair. Bunkers weren’t in great shape due to rains. I got to check out way too many!! Lots of beautiful landscaping and wildlife. For this transplanted Canadian the kangaroos are always exciting to see. Easy to get to. Lots of parking. Friendly and helpful staff.

Second generation club member. A good local course with some challenging obstacles. Overall pleasant place to be until you run into some tools on the course not aware of or simply don’t give a damn about golfing etiquette and the course marshall is either non-existent or too busy tending the pro shop. The staffs are lovely, just be aware that the roos are not the only wildlife you’ll run into on the course.

The view of the river from this place was phenomenal. The green was well kept and looked after. Seemed to have a few people around the place but never felt uncomfortable with others around. The only downside was the number of kangaroos. There were about 100 in one group... no over exaggeration.Will definitely be back

It's a huge golf course and huge facilities with everything you want and need to enjoy a day out with the boy's or the girls. The carpark is huge and accommodates everyone and yes it has disabled parking close to the entrance. It has a huge club house and is happy to hold events for any occasion like birthdays, anniversary, weddings and special occasions. It even has garage size storage space for rent so you don't have to worry about bringing everything all the time and no forgetting anything. They are big enough to fit a golf buggy if you're lucky enough to have one or you can rent one. I'd phone ahead incase they run out of buggys when you want to go or you can book time and buggy to suit your plans. The grass is beautiful and looks very well contained. A nice thing about it is morning and late afternoon into the night you will see lots of kangaroos wich is nice. You just play golf while the kangaroos are around but if you try to get near one they hop away fast. So they will stay in their area if you stay on the golf course. I'm pretty sure they're fully licensed. Of course they have toilets there for everyone especially disabled. It's on Brisbane Rd. Gails. Right accross from the train station you would have to be blind to miss it. Sorry no photos I didn't have phone on me, but I'll try and get some asap. It's very good the train station is there, picking up or dropping off every 15min. One tip don't speed or do anything illegal alot of police play there and when on duty drive past all day,every day trust me.

Bunkers are poor. # 3 & 5 out of play, 2 short decent par 3's replace them.

I’ve played a handful of rounds at Gailes and it’s a great course and probably the friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve come across at any course. Warren in the pro shop is always accomodating and goes above and beyond on the customer service front. Highly recommend!
