Love this place! Such a great get away from it all. Seeing the colony of flying foxes was such a delight and so many birds.

Great leisurely bushwalk for family! Just remember parts of it get rocky so not suitable for prams. Three and nine year olds loved it, especially the cave along the way. There is a colony of fruit bats near one end with signs telling you to be careful and quiet. We saw loads of them making heaps of noise. At the beginning there are BBQs and undercover seating. There are toilets too but we've never seen them open...If you park on Sutton Ave, Earlwood, there is a set of steps leading down to the walk. Adjacent to the entrance is a small playground for younger kids.

Tranquil park, never really busy. A blend of bird sounds, insect sounds and train sounds.

Fantastic park and native reserve which is a huge asset to the community and the environment.Pity it is not respected by Council or the State, lacking management and funding to bring it to its potential.Explore and enjoy it.

Such a lovely walk that requires actual walking along a track and not just a footpath. The bats are cool to see which are located halfway between Turella and Bardwell Park station. And my little girl loves seeing the train go by. I'd avoid the track after heavy rains, it will be too muddy over sections.
