Great dog park only hint there is bit of sharp glass everywhere and the water is not always very clean . Multiple dogs and people had cut their foot / pad there and skin rashes due to poor water quality.

Nice off-leash dog area for the pups to run around and have a dip! Not to mention the lovely view. This place isn’t fenced in, but is away from the road - though you should make sure your dog has a good recall before letting off leash.

This is a great place to visit with your dogs. It was our first time at the reserve and first beach day for the dogs.It was especially a good introduction to the water, not too deep and all the other dogs were just as friendly.We would be there everyday if we lived closer.

Great place to take the dog (or kids) for a swim! The car park can get full quick on hot busy days! However, you can park further away and walk down regardless. It has outdoor showers and toilets a short 15 minute walk back towards south curl curl. Not much shade so be sure to take an umbrella or marquee!

Brought my puppy here for the first time and he loved the lagoon that was separate from the ocean! Very nice locals, visitors and dogs alike! A nice field behind the lagoon for your dog to dry off in. Will be back for more, although my only gripe is the $25 parking which is standard anyway for popular beaches..

Beautiful beach. Wild waves great for surf.Good spot to watch dolphins and whales moving between Curl Curl and Shelly Beach.Dog walking path leading to an off leash park and beach at one end.Cafe and picturesque boardwalk in the other end.Modern clean toilet and shower facilities.Mobile coffee and vegan icecream vans often found near by.Recomme bringing some kind of sun shelter as no natural shade.Ample car park spots as well as street parking.** bonus, free little book exchange box near beach enterence.
