The perimeter track is almost completely overgrown so stick to the central track.

Small unspoilt remnant of Blue gum High Forres. Home to wide variety of native flora &fauna. Lots of very big old Blue gums. Well worth an hours walk.

This is an example of a eucalyptus Blue Gum High Forest which was the most prominent type of shale based forest ecosystem in the northern suburbs Sydney region before European settlement. This park is rectangular in shape and is approximately 10.7 hectares in size. It has not only Blue Gums but Blackbutts and Grey Turpentines. Some of the Blackbutts are in excess of 40 metres high.If you enter this reserve from Mona Vale Road, there is a bush path that has a gentle slopping gradient leading to the opposite end of the park. Birds seen and heard in the canopy include Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, little Corellas, Rainbow Lorikeets, Superb Fairy Wrens, Crimson Rosellas, Kookaburras and King Parrots.Super rare and special.

Great eucalyptus forest, really impressive. A shame about the masses of privet trees near Vista street. Why haven't these weeds been removed?

It is a beautiful place tucked away in an unsuspecting part of Pimble. I wouldn't think there would be such a quiet piece of land just a stones throw from a major thoroughfare. I saw a wallaby while I was there and plenty of cockatoos. No dogs allowed however but I don't think thats a deal breaker. It is a short walk, maybe twenty minutes, more if you are going to read all of the didactics regarding the area.

Beautiful remnant forest. Small but big enough to explore. Unfortunately the tracks are not always well maintained and thus can be hard to follow. If your lucky you may see wallabies.

This protected area is home to a Blue Gum High Forest, & is fascinating to explore & study the trees & habitat. You can do a very pleasant loop walk, which takes about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace.

Beautiful Rainforest type Oasis within the Northern Suburbs of Sydney. Lots of Birds, Lizards and a few Wallabies. Maybe more Wildlife within the confines of the Native Bushland. Great place to walk and relax. Beautiful Nature Reserve.
