Congratulations to the new Chef & staff @ Alder Park Bowling Club. What a huge change since our last visit, this time the meals were extremely well presented, and delicious. Admittedly all's new here but we'd like to see a desert menu included to make a good night great. Well worth a visit to this venue for a very enjoyable meal & courteous staff who make you feel comfortable & very welcome.

Sport fields with cricket pitch, athletics tracl, long jump, discus and shot put nets and small children's playground. Easy to find.

The park is huge and great for sports but does not have much play equipment for kids.

After night long rain, the field was still ok!Unfortunately only on-street parking, but very easy access.

I didn’t realise this ground was so big. Lots of fields set up for Saturday morning soccer. Great canteen set up in the middle of the ground.Parking was hard to find but then it always is for Saturday morning games.

Lots of open grounds for soccer and cricket. Played the Newcastle carnival here. Convenient and easy access with ample parking available.

Alder Park is a park. You got grass. You got trees. You got some equipment for the kids. There's even some nets for athletics practise. It's near a drain, which isn't a feature of the park, but might be something to consider on a rainy day. It does have some fences in these areas. It's also close to a servo for snacks, and the bowlo for a more substantial feed.

We visit this park whenever our granddaughter play their soccer games. Good seatings, both undercover and fence-line benches. Level footpath to the entrance of the soccer field.
