Definitely a must-try if you got time. Feel like im back to Jurassic park. Great atmosphere with lots of unique trees. Would be lucky to spot cassowaries too - the ancient bird. They have been around for more than 100 mil years!

Was such a clear day, we were so lucky that we could see all the surrounding mountains. Saw a big lizard but not sure what it's called. Spotted a cassowary in the bus but couldn't get great photo because of the forest.

Amazing place, surrounded by natural beauty and inspired by the healing energy and peaceful environment. Clean swimming holes and perfect beaches.

A 'must do' while you are up here. Do it as part of an organised tour, as you are fed so much information about the place that you miss out on when driving yourself. You will be given the opportunity to swim in beautiful a stream in the forest.

Been hearing about the Daintree for a lot of years and finally got up here. Scenery was amazing, the rainforest, the beaches beautiful. I did expect more wildlife though . Seen a couple of goannas and some beautiful birds but being spring I guess I expected more. The bitumen road has probably taken away some of the challenge of going through the Daintree although wet weather may change that. Enjoyed our time.

It was great. The rainforest is butiful especially when wet. Our tour guide told us about 10 times he loved the rainforest when wet and I fully agree that it's much nicer thar way than when the sun comes out. This specifically is where the rainforest is quite close to the ocean.

Can finally tick this one off my bucket list! Just so much to see and do! Could definitely have stayed much longer than a week.
