Camped free in the bowls club carpark and had dinner there, the meals are large and great value. We even had to get a takeaway box for the pizza.

Searched for somewhere to go, most towns in Qld have comfortable clubs. This one wasn't! Obviously used only by locals, obvious from patrons and even staff that we weren't welcome. Had some corny loud country music playing for the satisfaction of a few. No meals mid week as far as we could tell, no staff friendly enough to ask about it! Had a drink each and then couldn't get out quick enough. I would suggest if you're not local and just a visitor then don't bother. Couple of nice pubs in the city centre!

Had a great steak and my friend had the perfect mixed grill. It's hard to find somewhere that cooks a steak well but this place did it for us both.

Loved our stay at the bowls club, low-cost caravan parking.Friendly staff and use of toilet was available, although there's a park across the way with toilets

The Members were friendly and the club house very clean. It was light a airy there were pokey's but know-one was on them. They have an ATM and beer is cold at the bar.
