Nice place to visit & stay over night to watch an epic sunrise.Pity Parks & Wildlife have removed the showers in the toilet block. You can't wash the sand off before you get back into your car.

Cape Hillsborough never disappoints. No matter what time of year you visit. Take a picnic, your hiking shoes, swimmers and a sense of adventure. There are designated walking tracks as well as some old ones waiting to be rediscovered, if you like a challenge. So much more than (just another beach) albeit a beautiful one. Don't forget your camera!

The beach itself is gorgeous, in a c shape with a separate island that you can walk across on low tide. We arrived on a very windy day and there were lots of men in wind buggy cart things that looked like incredible fun zooming down the beach! Recon this should be made something you can book in to do but I think it was just there hobby!Anyway, the campsite is right on the edge of the beach, perfect for the sunrise wake up time! Cost us $42 for a powered site as it was full for unpowered.. but it was only $5 extra for the bonus of having a plug! Yay.The sunrise with the kangaroos and wallaby’s on the beach is beyond magical.

This place is amazing to go see the kangaroos at dawn!Just becarful doing the long hike as we didn't know the tide was in and we got to the end and had to walk all the way back!

A great place to stay for the weekend or holidays! Has a nice short hiking trail up a hill with a great view of the sea. Also a good place to do astronomy. There are also freely roaming kangaroos and wallabies in the park. They don't bite.

Stunning location with beautiful blue waters. We timed our visit for low tide so we could walk across the causeway to Wedge Island. Easy parking just outside the tourist park to access the starting point.
