Cania Gorge National Park
Great hikes that have easy to follow trails and aren't too difficult. The scenery is amazing and well worth seeing them all. No reception with Optus there.

Very nice national park. Most of the walks are quite manageable. There's only one really long walk (22km there and back), which is apparently not worth doing. We did all the others and they were beautiful.

This would be much prettier in the wet season but also probably a bit slippery. We did all the walks with the exception of the 20 odd k walk. There are lots of large rock steps and you need to have a certain level of fitness.

This is a magnificent area in otherwise unassuming countryside. As you drive into the park, you suddenly get the feel of something special. Massive rock walls appear from behind the trees, showing promise of what is to come. From the trail head, there are a number of walks you can do that are described well on a display board. There are easier walks and longer hikes, but all that we did involved climbing rock-hewn steps at some point. The highest we climbed was 180m according to one of my phone apps. But in the climbing and the hiking, you can quickly get lost in the majesty of the place and forget that you are close to civilization. There is a feeling of the energy of nature all around. It is very humbling. This and the views, caves and rock formations makes this a place to return to. Well recommended.

Cania Gorge is a great place visit. Quiet a few walks to choose from most have some reasonably steep steps. For the more experienced hiker there is a 22klm return walk along the ridges.

Plenty of parking, toilet facilities at the start of the walk and picnic tables. A scenic walk along a dirt and gravel track which is well marked.Spectacular bird life and the occasional snake, it is an easy walk to the Dragons cave. Lots of photo opportunities along the way.

Did all the walks except the 22km walk. Heaps of caves, beautiful steps, colourful rocks.

Well signposted walks. Difficult to get good views of the gorge. Tracks are adequately maintained - overgrown and blocked by fallen trees and branches in places. A large park with large distances between payoffs.

Such a great National Park, With heaps of walks to enjoy. The paths are good and there are some that have a few stairs to climb. As you walk through the park, the landscapes changes so many times, some say it’s a mini “Carnarvon Gorge” and you can see how that is possible. Come and see for yourself.
