Whalers Cove Villas

Lovely place to go on family holiday houses/ units have every thing you need for a weeks family holiday including internet. Nice and central to town and close to the beach for those lazy afternoon swims... managers can not do enough to help and are very friendly.. would and have recommended whalers cove to other friends and family who have all enjoyed their time here .. looking forward to our next vacation at whalers in a few weeks..

We have been visiting this property for the past 15 years, the location is perfect.Unfortunately this time we were left quite disappointed.Although villa 3 is beach front, it is extremely out dated and very tired.There are two small air con units upstairs but only a fire place down stairs. We were absolutely freezing.This would not be an ideal villa to choose during the summer time as you would swelter in the heat.The beds were absolutely terrible, my husband likes a firm bed but this was like sleeping on concrete.I did mention this to the office guy and he did get toppers put on, though this didn't overly help much. On leaving he was quite short and blunt with me not making me feel very welcome at all, it made me feel really quite upset. He made every excuse talking at me then in enquiring in making a booking for next year, knowing full well there was availability after speaking to his wife, he said no we're slammed walked in the office door basically shut it in my face.I have never had such bad service from this place, Management is a disappointment.For somewhere we have spent making many family memories we have left with discussion of staying elsewhere next time.

Amazing spot. Beachfront, breezy and beautiful.The villas are well appointed and have everything you need for a holiday. Perfect for a girls weekend away, walk to town to shop and have coffee.Loved it.

This place is amazing. Plenty of room for the whole family, clean, safe and everything provided you could possibly need. Kitchen is fully equipped and we all felt instantly relaxed and at home. The lounge had a great fire that kept us cosy and games, cards, books all provided to use. Right on the water. Such a lovely escape. Definately will be returning.

Stayed here with my partners children last week during the school holidays. It was clean and catered to our needs. The kids loved having their own loft to themselves. The complex was quiet even though it was fully booked, which was awesome, we didn’t feel like anyone else was staying there. The villas are so close to the beach and walking distance to cafes and supermarket. Definitely will book to stay again, recommend booking early to obtain a Villa as gets booked very quickly.

Positive = Great locationNegative = We stayed in Monticello villa for 4 nights, would definitely avoid this one. Very tired and odd layout with staircase. Friends had other units for the same price with much better fittings and furniture.

Beach is perfect and shallow for the kids, The villa has heaps of room and a great grass area for the kids, however it is in need of some modernisation. The location and proximity to the town are awesome. 4 stars only due to age and decoration internally

Nice service in office. Great location. Our villa (L Harmone) and was very tired and dated and in great need of refurbishment.

We have stayed here previously and it was fabulous. Room was clean, roomy and location is fabulous. We have now booked to stay again in April (different villa than before) and the management was so easy to deal with and accommodating. Can't recommend enough.

It’s a great location for beach walks and swims - just a 5 min walk to town centre. The service on site is great and the rooms facilitated really well. If you are looking for four bedroom villas they all got the Bill but a couple of villas are clumsy. One we recently used had a step ladder to the room which isn’t good for a midnight bathroom stop and another has a sofa that doesn’t unfold into a bed. Small points but worthy of note when booking
