Visited the Centre this morning and had excellent service from Lisa and Norm with wonderful advice and local tips. Cheerful and enthusiastic about promoting their local area to us visiting from NSW. Also helped us decide to hike to the Granite Skywalk with the advice provided. Thank You

Recommend by a local we spoke to at the Mount Barker bakery we stopped at the visitors centre.... best information centre we've visited so far! Lovely ladies helping, full of warmth and knowledge. Wonderful range of locally made products and gifts, information on the whole of WA is fantastic too lots to choose from. Thank you very much, glad we stopped in.

Very helpful staff. The centre has one of the best collections of maps and information about local and more distant localities. Thanks ladies, and your advice about lunch at West Cape Howe vineyard was spot on. We had an excellent shared platter and allowed ourselves the luxury of purchasing some great wines.

Toilets are available behind the centre. Follow the path past the main building & you'll find them (south). Great use of the old railway building. Staff are helpful & have great knowledge of area. Many various trinkets, books, locally made items to view & buy.

As we’ve recently moved to the area, we thought this would be a great place to start. We weren’t wrong! The local knowledge offered was awesome. Outside in the car park, they even have a caravan waste disposal area for travellers.
