One of my favourite camp spots. Sheepyard flat campground is the pick of the lot. The river flows all year round, there are pit toilets only. Accessible by 2wd vehicles in most weather conditions. Very busy during public and school holidays. Free entry and no pre-booking required. Flies are in attendance without fail in warmer weather, and there is the odd resident snake in the scrub. No potable water. You can boil the river water or bring your own. You must bring your own firewood too or buy it from the meal truck that comes along during the busy holiday time. Lots of room for camper trailers or caravans. Approximately 30-45mins from Mansfield (and nearest fuel/shops/hospital). Enjoy.
